The day before...
Well kiddies- let's just say it's been a wild weekend- the Mrs. called - instead of showing up- typical!  I'm making this one short as I will be leaving for San Diego tomorrow.  Need to get set up and meet the boys there when they get in on Wednesday.  Hope all goes well- and if you are out on the left coast for the show this weekend- stop by an say hello.

peace,

Friday on my mind!
It's been a good week...until now.  I heard from my ex wife.  Those of you that have been a reader of this blog or have read some of my various editorials in the books have probably heard me talk about this before.  It comes up occasionally-

Apparently she is coming into town this weekend and wants to "talk about things".  Like I need this.  We all leave on Wednesday for San Diego and then gear up for a short trip to Vegas and then onto Chicago Con.  What other stress inducers could I possibly need before this long trek across the country? It should be interesting... I'll post back on Monday and let everyone know how it all went.

I recently learned that "I am" is the shortest sentence in the English language.  Is it possible that "I do" is the longest sentence?

Peace... I Hope,

Paint
The guys are getting ready for San Diego and Chicago which happen within a week of each other and with the slight detour in between will leave them no time.  So Art and Franco are trying to get ready for the shows now.  Not to mention the deadlines they are trying to get to as well as the paintings and artwork for the show.  I walk by and notice this painting one of the guys is doing and I lean in to take a good look. I am now the proud owner of a bright red tie with bright green paint on it.

Hazards of my job.

It's late

peace,

A vicious circle!
Apparently I was up all night!  Why?  Because of the problem last night- y'know- the dark- so I was awake flinching at every sound my imagination thought of.  I finally fell asleep around 4am. - the problem- slept right through all of my morning meetings.  Now to make up for time lost... I'm working late tonight to make up for all I missed doing this morning!  It's a vicious circle!  I'm telling you- you can't make this stuff up!

Never see the light of day!
Wow!  Monday back in the office and it seems there is a ton of stuff to do!  I apparently never left the office- Here it is past 9pm and i just noticed it's dark outside!  Ok- I'm going to admit- I"m kinda asacred of the dark- Don't judge me!  The problem is- I'm the only one left here at the office and I can't find my flash light.  ...

Slapped in the forehead with a warm sponge
I'm sharing with you readers the fact that the older I get the more hair seems to grow in more places than just my head- have you noticed the hat I wear all the time?  This as you can imagine causes a lot of stress, that and the fact that I have to deal with Artie, Franco and Jamie calling me at all hours of the morning and night.  So I found a great way to decompress and relax.  I light a few candles, put on some Josh Groban (but I'm not picky- Micheal Bubble will do fine in pinch) and then slap myself in the forehead with a warm sponge and repeat the Blindwolf mantra-"Our day in the hot sun will come"

moral: take time for yourself every now and then- it'll do you good.

as always,

I got Muffined!
So while in Florida- I make a side trip to visit my mammacita.  She lives in one of these elderly type communities.  It's a nice place and she's happy there. You know, they got a pool- a work out place- things like that, a real community!  So she has this friend that lives there and as we ( I drove my mother to the store) were coming home, my mother spots this friend walking her little dog Muffin. So we pull up next to her so my mothr can say hello.  This friend is a little hestitant about the car she does not recognize, but after seeing my mother she picks up her precious little Muffin and comes over to say hello.  She leans into the window and the next thing anyone knows this little Muffin is a force to be reckoned with.  Muffin leaps out of her owner's arms and flys into my rental car. I got paws of my face, the Publix bags are ripped to shreds, she's eating my mothers hair!!!! After about 2 minutes of pure chaos we get the Muffin out of the car and after some pleasantries we drive off. Try explaining the grass stains to the Hertz people!!!!! So if you are ever in Florida- I warn you!  Beware the Muffinator!

til next time-

Peace,

Hello Again!
I know what you guys are saying!  After the spectacular 3 day in a row run on the blog posting- I dropped the ball and didn't post again until today! Well true but not really!  After meetings in Washington my cousin and I headed for an impromptu trip to the House of Mouse!  I gotta tell you- that ride on Mission Space at Epcot?  How do you not get throw up sick on that thing?  I had no internet on the trip -well- because it was a vacation and now we are back... and getting geared up for San Diego!  So in the next couple of days- I'll be telling you about some of our (mis)adventures on the trip to FLA.

always in peace,
