Monday, Monday....
Is it just me or does anyone else find that Mondays are a bit more complicated than the other work days. How much can
pile up over the weekend that you have to catch up on when you get back. Now on top of that you add in some pretty kooky
comic book people that write and draw funny books for a living and I just don't think it's like any other place to
work. The reason I bring all of this up now? Well, it's in the middle of my work day on a Tuesday and I'm
taking a break to blog this thing- just cause I need a moment of sanity to recall my own coherence. I'll let you
know how it all worked out tomorrow...

The Doc is IN!
Back in the office to day and what do I get hit with? A Newsarama interview with the boys about TINY TITANS. Which
is great- and then there's all those posts after it. There are some real nice people out there in this retail and
creative end of Comics and we can not thank them enough for thier support. There are also a few of you out there that
are concerned about this whole thing. All I want to ask is: "Can't we all just get along?" It is
fun to watch. Also- Again- this does not mean the boys will stop working on other projects! I can't stress
this enough!!!! There will be more PATRICK stuff coming soon. As a matter of fact- DDP volume 4 of Patrick should
be out in time for Halloween, with a whole bunch of BRAND SPANKING NEW PATRICK STUFF!!!!! Sheesh the cover is right
there------------->
Tying to blog daily(yeesh)!!

The other guy!

For those of you that don't know- the other guy in the pictures with Art and Franco is Mike Kunkel! He's
going to be doing a book for DC too. We've been privy to some of the art work and Man!!!! It looks so good!!
No offense to that Jeff Smith guy (we like his stuff too) but this book is going to be so cool! So when it comes out
- go buy it... after you bought your five copies of Tiny Titans first, of course.
Aww yeah man!
The
Dr. had the day off today!

Not to worry!
Sheesh!!!
It's like I set off an alarm or something and everyone went running in a panic!!! The guys
will still be doing Patrick books! They will!!! Honest!!! Just because they will be doing Tiny Titans for DC, doesn't
mean they will give up on other stuff! Man, the emails from you guys has been great... but it'll be ok- I promise.
More Patrick - soon.

More convention info
...So then Jann asked the guys and they said yes. Now onto the hard part- or what they thought was hard- working with
a big company like DC. The working relationship is great! Tiny Titans is a fun, new, fresh take on characters you already
know- or to quote Art-"It's all the Titans you know and love, except really really little!" That line
drew a big laugh from the very crowded DC Nation Panel in Chicago. That is exactly the reaction the guys are looking
for when you pick up the book. They are working hard to make sure the book will have appeal from ages 5 to 95.
In upcoming post we will be talking about the book and giving sneak peeks and stuff like that. It's gonna be great-
or as Art and Franco would put it:
"AW YEAH TITANS!!!!"

The beginning...
It pretty much started a couple of years ago. J'ann was a fan of Art and Franco. Case in point
check out the picture of her and a painting by Franco that she purchased in 2003-4. The boys never had a clue she worked
for DC until a phone call was placed to Art back in January of this year from her. She asked if he would like to
work on a book for DC. During conversations(after Art said 'yes'- duh!) Franco was also asked. It was
all kept very hush hush - the only people Art and Franco told were their wives. No one here at the studio had a clue
what the project was. We knew it was for DC but no clue as to what characters or anything like that. It was revealed
this past weekend in CHICAGO! Now the whole world knows all about TINY TITANS!!- More tomorrow-

stories from the conventions.

I AM NOT A LIAR!!!
It's been a whirlwind couple of weeks. The boys have been all over the country in the last few weeks- starting with
meetings in NY- then onto San Diego and ending up in Chicago where the big news was finally announced! Art and Franco
will be working on TINY TITANS for DC comics!!!! I have known these guys for a while and they are talented and dedicated
and all I can say is- I'ts about time!!!! Good for them!!!! but- especially: good for US!!! As soon as the news
broke there have been lots of posting out there in internet land- but all I can tell you is- I have seen the stories and I
have seen the art! They are great and you should judge for yourself when they come out. In the next few days i'll
be giving the lowdown of all the high lights of the last few weeks. If you have any questions- feel free to write to
me and I will do my best to answer!
peace- and love,

BIG DEALS
Hey gang! Just back from the left coast- sorry no blogs but hey- there's this one and it's probably the only
one you'll get as we are all heading to the Windy city of Chicago the Home of Art Baltazar. Rumor mill has it that
the boys are going to be breaking some big news there- so stay tuned- or better yet- go to the show. Hopefully Saturday,
rather than Friday or Sunday so Art's wife can go. When you got kids- you got stuff to do- jeez louise! And
who is Louise anyway? Speaking of Louise- the Mexican Jesus is still missing in action. It's a shame cause
he owes me cheese and crackers and I'm hungry. Hopefully he'll turn up in Chi town!
